This beautiful painted papercut swallow artwork captures the beauty of flying swallows at sunset. It has been a joy to study these incredible birds and the wonderful silhouettes they create as they catch insects in flight.
Measuring 20 x 10 inches in a custom made wooden box frame - this is a versatile piece that can be placed in many spaced, and can be either wall mounted or placed on a mantle piece or shelf.
Each swallow is cut from hot pressed watercolour paper and painted in high pigment watercolour paint. The background was painted with a slow progress to carefully build shading and the sense of a setting summer sun.
The high quality box frame with double mount completes this piece. I carefully box and wrap all artworks before shipping to you.
