About Me

I love the versatility of working with paper. I became interested in papercutting when I saw a butterfly sculpture made from metal and wanted to create something similar for myself. That first butterfly picture can still be found in my living room - like a first love.

I explore the silhouettes, movement and rhythms you can find in nature through my art. My process allows me to explore different compositions and aesthetics, even with a repeat single silhouette. A simple form such as a paper fish or butterfly can become a dynamic art work, brimming with vibrancy and movement. By painting my papercut designs, I can ensure every piece is unique. Some designs I repeat - but ensure small details always differ. Some are complete one-offs.

Its important to me that my artwork is unique, joyful and accessible to as many as possible - thats why you will find my artwork at such a wide range of sizes and price points.

I am based in Farnham, Surrey - England's National Craft Town - and combine my art practice with being a busy Mum to three children. When I'm not creating you can find me at the pool, pottering in my garden or drinking coffee with friends.
